Looking for a good 4k (or even 2k) monitor with size > 24in with IPS panel at around 17-20k.. mostly used for coding & content viewing..  no gaming or light gaming..

Basically it should be good enough for viewing / editing code with close distance.. mainly need this large monitor so that we can open multiple windows side by side.. instead of keeping 2 monitors which is a stretch..

Even I am looking forward to seeing some 4k 28" monitors on sale during the Great Summer Sale starting on may4th.

Glad they didn't name it the Big Summer sale, or we might have called it the bs sale.

(or even 2k)
In my opinion it is not worth buying 2k monitors from now on, if you need a lot of space on your monitor for work. The 2k tech seems to be obsolete.

35k. Any feedback on other lower priced ones? 32in 4k lg samsung at 26-27k?

32inch is too big for desktop usage and might be uncomfortable for the eyes. Max 28 inch on 4k for coders, in my opinion.

4K 32in is exact 4x 100% without any shrinkage.. anyways even 27-28 should do as well.

Check this.. what do you say?

I have not used Philips monitors before, so not sure If I can comment on this, Between Acer B08H1FXFNT 28" now reduced to 22k and Philips, I will be inclined for the acer one since I already use 3 acer products 2 + years and happy with them.

I am expecting a drop below 20k with the kotak discount on may 4th.

@getready , what's your take on the 4k monitor pricing.

Did you purchase any monitor during the sale? If yes, which one?

There was no deal less than 20k for the 4k 28" category, so not purchased anything during the recent sale..

I am tracking the Acer CB282K 4k , I might eventually end up buying that in the next CC billing cycle.
