Model?
If it is a slightly older Android phone, then consider the phone lost from your possession for forever. It is not coming back to you.
The best thing you can do is to get the phone’s IMEI blocked by filing a FIR.

Actually Don’t have the box with me So need to search it. Also Amazon acc is not working since the sim card is not started sending and receiving sms

It was an expensive phone(25k+) or a mid-range(10-20k) phone?

Arey, bhai. smile

If that phone was a mid-range phone, meaning it will most probably be using an older chipset, meaning you will never even have the satisfaction that the thieves aren’t able to use your phone either.

Redmi 7A was a decent phone near 5-6k.

Sorry for your loss. Reminds of a similar incident happened with me. I was walking on road in evening at 7 PM just after coming out of a lecture>talking to my Ex>holding my Nokia Supernova Phone (worth around 7K at that time) with just 3 fingers>a bike passed by swiftly>thief snatched away my phone>I was waiting for bike to return assuming it was a prank by my friends>I took me few minutes to realise that I lost it>My EX immediately ringed my other Nokia 1100 and started arguing why I had disconnected and switched it off in the middle of conversation>I was just standing like a lost soul in the middle of road. smile

For mobiles I think no ps will register FIR.
Its from my personal experience.
Waste to visit ps.
Travel expenses also waste to visit ps.
Unless you have any contacts in PS.

Never walk near the actual road while talking on a phone. Use a headphone instead. Preferably, with one earbud in and the other one out.
This also applies to the railway stations/platforms.
In Mumbai, a man who was walking near the edge of the platform was slapped really bad by a hoodlum on a train.

To get a phone(rather IMEI of a phone) blocked on the mobile networks, you will need to file a FIR for theft. All you need is proof of purchase.

Couldn’t find what I wanted to find, but here is an example why you should never be near a moving vehicle/train(in India):

one of my friend went to police station for same reason but he got only abusive words from police.
They don’t take chain snatching or mobile lost complain just to show that crime is low in their area.
Police complain needed in case if mobile misused. Terrorist or antisocial element use stolen phone to pass their messages.

Yes, just for your security.
If your phone is used for illegal acts and police trace imei to you, then u need a proof that u lost it.

Can I do it manually?

Yes, visit ur neaby police station, they just take a normal lost complaint and give u a receipt.
In ur case its robbery, so u will have to convince them to file robbery case which they may not agree easily.
