worst app. atleast show the transaction. how can I present my case when there’s absolutely nothing for which I can raise a dispute. Only have bank transaction id but nothing in the app.

Hmm. Send them an email would be the last option.

that’s the main problem. no entry is created. how do I even raise a dispute? That’s why I am even more skeptical if I will even get my money back. It’s been two hours already. Neither voucher nor refund.

Mailed them at last. Have zero hopes since there is absolutely zero information about the transaction and I had made two identical transactions back to back.
The first was a success where as the second failed.
1) Go to Account ➡️ Help & Support ➡️ Payments/Wallets ➡️ Select your failed transaction ➡️ As per the automated process it gets automatically refunded credited as per the cycle{ If not you can write there in box and submit}
2) Email care[at]magicpin.in mentioning REFUND in subject and copy all the transactions details from the step 1 screen.
You will get refund within 48 hours.

1) I have checked as per the steps that you’ve mentioned. failed transaction not showing. infact there is no way to trace that I even did a transaction other than the banking app where it is showing the transaction since money got debited from my bank account. Not even a single trace/ any way the failed transaction can be traced in Magicpin. Had former been the case, there was no need to create this thread.\
2) Already mailed them on the said email id. Since I have no transaction id of magicpin, I have attached screenshot of bank transaction id to support my case.
3) Contacted them on Twitter. They are leaving me on seen and not reverting to my messages.
If this is the kind of customer service they have in case of a technical glitch at their end, i would suggest people to stay away from Magicpin. I have already wasted close to 4 hours to follow up on this issue with them.

I would like to assure you your money is safe.
Please understand the payment gateway processing protocols.
How are payments processed?: An online payment involves several steps involving multiple parties such as:
➡️ the online website the customer is transacting on,
➡️the payment gateway helping collect sensitive details (like OTP or IPIN) and processing payments,
➡️ an acquiring bank which works with the payment gateway and helps route the payment and finally,
the customer’s own bank, popularly known as issuing bank.
If the service is not delivered to you what you paid for OR the transaction was failed at the merchant side.
In that case
Issuer bank automatically gets money back from acquirer bank.
Reversal of money: For any failed transactions, most of the time, systems are designed to automatically reverse the money involved. Hence, there is no reason to panic as your money is safe.
“Any amount deducted from your account will be automatically refunded within 7-10 days.
Why refunds take 5-10 days?: A refund thus involves an exchange of information between 3-4 different parties. Each of these parties have their own mechanisms to file the refund request, map it to their respective payments that were originally made and then process it forward.
UPI transactions do not have these middle parties ..Thus the refund timing is fast usually within few hours to max 48 hrs.
Always prefer UPI if you are not getting any discount with debit/credit cards.
You will get refund after 5 days ( in case of debit card)
