Maharashtra government has decided to extend the lockdown in hotspot areas like Mumbai, Pune, Malegaon, Aurangabad and Solapur until May 31.

The government of Maharashtra has extended the lockdown till May 31 for containment of COVID-19.
The order, issued by the chief secretary of Maharashtra, Ajoy Mehta, says that all earlier orders issued shall be aligned with the new order.
The calibrated phase-wise relaxation/lifting of lockdown orders will be notified in the due course, his order states.
