Hey guys, Can someone suggest the insurance with BEST MATERNITY COVERAGE. Wanted to take one plan extra because my corporate insurance gives only 50k coverage and that too Pre and post natals are not covered.
Share your experience regarding claims with that insurer.
FYI, discussed with Policybazaar and ditto agents but afaik they suggest plans where they get more commisions rather than real problems we face.
Thanks in advance!

Hey! I was in a similar situation, and after a lot of research, I found that Star Health Insurance, Tata AIG, and Niva Bupa (formerly Max Bupa) offer some of the best maternity coverage plans. They cover both pre and post-natal expenses along with newborn care.
Star Health has a plan called Family Health Optima that includes maternity benefits after a waiting period of a few years. It's a comprehensive plan, and I found their claim process pretty smooth.
Niva Bupa’s Health Premia Plan is another good option. It covers maternity after a 2-year waiting period and includes a higher cap on maternity expenses compared to many others.
Tata AIG also offers competitive maternity coverage options, and since I work with them, I can answer any questions you might have about their policies. They have a good reputation for claim settlements, and you might find their plans to be a good fit for your needs.
Also, do note that most of these policies have a cooling period of 4 years, so you need to take that into consideration when planning for maternity coverage.
