I have to purchase medicines of about 3k every month, and for past few years I've been using medplus exclusively. They offer 20% discount. Just curious to know whether there's any place offering more discount? The place must be genuine though as these are cancer and heart medicines.
Thanks.

How much additional discount on Wednesday?
If you have OneCard, you buy with around you offers.
From past 6 year, I have never purchased medicine at less than 25% Discount and currently I am purchasing all medicines through onecard at around 40.5% discount (15 by Apollo and 30 by onecard)
here I am talking about branded medicines and for those who talked about truemeds or netmeds for generic or substitute then don't use them, just go to PM ayushman kendra (You can easily find a store in cities even in small town) where you can buy all medicines at just 5 - 10% of mrp of branded medicine
but apollo is costly on MRP so dont just look at MRP price vs discount, i mean discount on "an already heavy price stuff" is not gonna yield good
check with competitor like netmeds and truemeds and then decide BASED ON FINAL PRICE OF A MED AFTER DISCOUNT on all the sites and then decide
Don't delete this post in future. Few people have given good information about more discount on medicines. Will need this , so saved it. Maybe this will help other people in future too.
Thanks. Unfortunately I don't possess a onecard. can one get this card withot providing any income proof? otherwise it seems that Netmeds is the only option for me.
Apollo + OneCard
Truemeds
Netmeds
What are your thoughts on generic medications?
I ordered 2 stripes of generic and 1 stripe branded
Truemeds is giving 25-26% discount without any trick/ offer etc
I use Pharmeasy with a monthly coupon from Timesprime, combine with wallet cashback plus smart buy rewards of 10x.
Bro which hdfc card and did you receive 10x rewards without any issue?
Now the one card rewards dropped from 28% to 15%
I usually go for medplus..they offer 20% discount on above 1000 and 28% additional by one card.
I use PharmEasy for medicines order, usually they are running 20% discount on medicines, pharmeasy free wallet credits and paying on smart buy with HDFC Regalia or Millenia on Smartbuy for more 10% discount. If you've HDFC premium credit cards like Infinia then discount will be even more.
Extra benefit of PharmEasy plus and you can get it at Rs.49 with Smartbuy.
My mother buys generic medicine tablets for her high BP. The prescribed medicine costs 1250 (after 10% discount) for a months quantity in a regular medical shop. The same costs 200 a month at Jan Aushadi shop.
I am not sure if they have supplies for cancer, but have seen people buying heart related / blood thinner medicines there. You can check with your doctor and try Jan Aushadi medicines for a cycle. If they don't suit you, you can go back to your usual branded medicines.
i use tata 1 mg using neu app . most medicine except vitamin give 19-20% discount plus 5% neucoin + 5% sbi cashback card. approx 30% discount/cashback
I buy month 40-50k medicine for whole family. I use apollo for medicines which are less discount in tata 1mg and get sometimes 20/18 + 5% from sbi cashback card. approx 23-25% discount
will apply onecard offer next
you can check mrmed app or web site where you can get branded medicine at 50% cheaper
I guess the one card stopped rewarding high %, now its 1-2 ?
Someone please explain what is the maximum discount rate of different medicine apps
1. Should the pharmeasy account-linked and Smartbuy account-linked phone number be the same?
2. Which discount code do you use on Pharmeasy to get maximum discount?
3. Anyway to get pharmeasy plus subscription for free or lowest price?
4. A family member has Infinia cc. Should we log into the smartbuy-infinia portal and then make the transaction on Pharmeasy?
5. Any problem if the order gets split or part of the order is cancelled or returned?
Thanks in advance
1. No linkage
2. Changes from time to time
3. Times Prime gives, Paytm also can give for new members
4. Not sure, smartbuy redirect is definitely working, but I don't know if direct bookmarking of pharmeasy's smartbuy page works or not
5. Points will get reversed partially or fully. You will get points according on the final order value post refund.
