Meditation have changed my life. I must say…

I was not so strong in facing difficult situations. Was not a problem solving . Always use to cut problems

The moment, I started meditation, overall things changed. Now I am strong enough, to face any sort of difficult challenges..

Thread spoilers will share everything beforetand and make it uninteresting ……………… ,
So a Meditator will definitely not want to waste his earned energy here , and if one does , it will be overshadowed by offtopic / irrelevant nonsense , and it will not be able to reach effectively to the one who wants to read the main thing

Meditation 100% helps in overall wellbeing of a being ,tested and tried since ages and still continues to be tested by many and 100 % outcome ,
Depression , anxiety , many severe illnesses , memory power , concentration , and likes sufferers are guaranteed with positive results

If you have experienced any of what you mentioned, consider sharing some techniques or pointers for others to work with.
If none of it is in your own experience yet, let’s not talk about it.

Exactly.. When I try to mediate I either fall asleep or start dreaming about superhuman stuff 😁

Training/Controlling mind is tough initially. From what I have heard from others one has to keep on trying & tune the mindspace one small step at a time. Ensure that all external interruptions (mobile etc) are kept at bay. Environment plays a role more so in the initial part. Natural open areas are preferred by those who have access to such places. A Canadian about whom I read used to meditate in open even in brutal winter of Canada.

It takes considerable time to achieve little bit of stillness (स्थिरता) initially & smallest of noise can disrupt you, though once mastered one can meditate deeply even in a fish market…

Patience is what I lack. And then life problems keep playing in mind. I guess that is why it never worked for me and it never will pensive

Most face same issues.

Initially it will be tough & slow progress when mental churning is taking place. Slowly with time churning will become smoother as you go deeper. It takes months (or years) to untie the first knot for most.

Do it at your own pace depending on your work commitments. If one can’t sit cross legged then they can sit on a chair. ध्यान (dhyaan) as the word denotes requires concentration. As far as progress is concerned be prepared to be content with little initially. Every step howsoever small is progress..

yes, innitially it might be tough. But not necessary that one should stick to particular duration…

My understanding and observation:

Most of the people who follow meditation would have suffered mentally. To regain from that, some changes religion, some follow meditation, some go to hospital.

In any case, meditation is not for healthy minds. It is for the suffered minds just to avoid going to (mental) hospital.

Can any one who follow mediation challenge me with the above?

Note: Please consider this as pari prasna (humble request). I am not questioning the authenticity of the mediation.

Patience and Concentration are the key factors for Meditation.
Kindly read my previous comment and your reply to it , it shows lack of both.

Taking my gyan😉 for meditation a bit further , it really takes a lot of you in the initial stage to concentrate ,even if you go to the himalayas with no one around , there also it will be definitely challenging to concentrate in the initial stage .
Patience and trying to concentrate slowly and achieve it ,if not the higher level you can atleast find it helpful in your everyday life when you are just nearing level 1.

Experience Meditation thyself and feel the difference.
I used to do yog , pranayam , meditate some
5 years ago , but due to early morning office time shift , left it midway.
But it was really an experience ,felt energetic day long , body in shape and glow , etc etc.
