A close relative of mine placed an order for medicines in Medlife. After paying, payment got deducted twice form Amazon Pay. Order delivered. Now almost 2 weeks are over . they are not refunding extra amount. All mails and calls have fallen on deaf ears.
It seems to be a new avenue used by them for earning money. I checked, many others also have not got refund.
Ironically they have a FAQ as well for double payment, that means its very commonplace there :
I have paid twice for the order
We regret the inconvenience. Do not worry, as the additional amount gets refunded when your Order is packed.
Now please advise how to get his money back.

Try fb,twitter and write a mail to customer care
u should have talked to Apay as well
They can not earn this way as audit will find out, but must be earning interest though.

Please explain this part. For our money which is in wallet, do the wallet provider earn interest on the same? Considering the money is in their current/corporate account for a second.
This has happened to me as well but I got the refund in 48 hours.
Raise complaint with Amazon customer care by chat citing duplicate payment/refusal of Medlife to provide services against this payment
Wonder how do they sponsor various tournament titles?
They should be renamed as Out of Stock company. Earlier I have ordered from them, got orders with delivery after 5-10 days. But all my orders from 1 year, have only 1 status as 1 of the medicines is out of stock. If I attempt to order only 1 medicine, then also it goes OOS. hahaha
Now I only use Medlife to order Mobikwik use 100% supercash deals because I can’t rely on them. Out of Stock company.
Netmeds was better before Reliance takeover.
Pharmeasy although merged with Medlife, is still the best in terms of service. I order medicine in the afternoon around 2 PM and it gets delivered the same day until 7 PM.
@Saikcw Did you get your money back?
Even I have a cancelled order whose refund is pending for over a week.
Yes, got it after contacting n number of times
I used Medlife once and then I never used it again ever. The product stock system is horrible. After you place the order using coupons/offers, they will modify the order at their will making any coupon or offer ineligible saying that the medicine is not in stock. Never faced this issue with NetMeds. I always buy medicines from them even after falling victim to their e-gift voucher trap.
For the issue you mentioned, keep pestering them on social media, emails etc. Try to find out the email address of any senior management of Medlife. Also, raise a dispute for the duplicate transaction with the bank/card as a fraudulent transaction. One more point to note is that it usually takes 7-10 business working days for a charge to get reversed on the bank account if its unclaimed by the vendor/merchant.
If all is a success at the end, then never return to Medlife again like me
