MI Screen Protect - Questions

Guys, I just bought a Note 8 and was considering buying Screen Protect at 399 but have a few questions:
1. If the screen breaks during Screen Protect validity period, does the company charge anything else? I mean replacement charges, service charges, pickup charges or any other charge?
2. Do they intentionally deny replacement citing stupid reasons such as mishandling, phone water exposed or some other shit.
Those who have availed this service can probably answer better.
