My sim has some ₹10 balance and shows validity till 30/9/21 (haven’t recharged for last 2 years.. they had given validity till 9/2021 just like that).
My Google Pay decided to ask for verification and now I am not able send a SMS (rather app is not able to send out the verification sms) from the linked VI number.
Any tips on how to send sms since there is sufficient balance?
Do I have to recharge a base plan? Min plan is ₹149. I hope it will allow me to send the SMS. Is there any other lower priced option to send an SMS? (Also want to port out of this damn vi to bsnl)

that now some ₹111 or 128/129 recharge too has come in VI, for 30 or 31 day validity
in which outgoing SMS is officially supported.
But no main balance is given in it and calling too is restricted (only VI to VI calls allowed at night).
As expected, each CS agent is giving conflicting and contradictory information.
While on the site, during recharge checkout, those plans are obscured in some far away tabs.
107 (30 days) & 111 (31 days) does not have outgoing SMS -as per Vi site.
Min 129 (18 days) for sms.
