mistakenly choosed bank of america as bank name instead of hdfc bank in cred.

I did not notice during payment, when i added card in cred, cred put bank of america automatically as  bank name instead of hdfc bank. Made 2 payments of 1500 and 1000, both payments are now showing successful but i have not recieved any fund in my credit card yet.

Will i get refund automatically or need to raise issue with bank of america also as i have already raised this issue with the cred. If anyone have ever faced such situation please help me to find the solution

just a dm to cred on twitter and got the refund yesterday, still whenever i put the details of the hdfc card it automatically puts the bank name as bank of america angry angry, yeh sudharne wale nai h @guest_999 @getready @Knight11

If you've fed the right card number, then you will get the funds in your card account (/ refund) regardless of the issuing bank tag

Expand the transaction section in cred and see what it shows. If it showing confirmed by bank, then there is something to be worried about. Otherwise just wait.

Yes card number is right, but have not recieved fund till now even after in the transaction history payment is showing successful n even I got msg in WhatsApp about successful, i tried to pay again by puting hdfc bank as name n card details, payment got credit instantly in my hdfc bank credit card...

Well you wont get refund automatically, 

Same. Thing happened with me, I made 5 transaction of 1k out which 4 faield after 2 days and one got successful then onky i got, suspicious. 

I explained everything to them and they gave me UTR no to cross check with bank that trnasais successful is form vred side.

So what i did is i raised a ticket on and when the reply came via email, so i replied them back that how am. I suppose to cross check with the HDFC bank whilst the cred app shows babk name as Babk of America, i asked them how can a trnaction be successful with invalid bank detected. So i told them. Tbat i have readde the card and manually selected HDFC this time and did trnaction which settled to my credit card within 2 minutes, I told them them its a bug on ur app that the same card ahs been added twice on app with different bank names. 

I got a call also then i explained same. Thing to the CRED guy, he asked two days to look into the query and my money was refunded om 4th day of the telephonic conversation. 

So just go ahead and raise a ticket.

Payment should either succeed correctly to hdfc bank or it should fail as no BoA card has same number as your HDFC card.

Wait for sometime then. Cred settles payments via IMPS (Instant) and NEFT, for second mode it takes couple of hours for the payment to reflect

No, it is not showing confirmation from the bank side, it is the cred which has made successful payment to card, after expanding transaction details it say bank may take 2 working days to start showing this payment. @getready @guest_999

If the status doesn't change, then you will get the refund (You seem to have already contacted cred one, just send them a reminder after 2 working days)

Thanks, n yes i have already raised the issue with cred via twitter, let see how long it will take....i did not pay attention much bcs of onecard, i was thinking bank name does not matter just like onecard

No point trying, unless cred updates its system software this issue won't be solved & they are not going to do that for just one/few customers' complaints.

Which card you add ?

It happens with HDFC Tata Neu RuPay credit cards, by default choose Bank of America and bill repayment gets stuck but when we add again HDFC Tata Neu RuPay credit cards and manually choose HDFC bank. Bill repayment is successfully credited on card within a second.

Yes, HDFC TATA NEU RUPAY CREDIT CARD. Manual option to change the bank name available only when u add a card directly to the cred, but when i try to use this card in another cred ac directly for product purchasing, on the payment page after submitting card no, by default bank name as bank of america appears automatically and there is no option to change it.

But i guess card otp page will open for product purchasing. right ?

You can also manually add your card on other Cred account too.

I do not want to add the card in my 2nd cred ac, so I tried to purchase a product from the cred store but money is getting stucked
