Mobikwik not allowing electricity bill payment via Wallet money.

Yesterday, I tried paying electricity bill (MSEB bill worth ₹420) via money in Mobikwik wallet (₹2000+).
Mobikwik gave me an error that I need to pay some amount via other payment method.
I raised this issue and then suddenly some magical internal policies were mentioned which say that you cannot pay electricity bill via wallet money.
I am really annoyed that Mobikwik has degraded so much.
First, the data hack and now this nowhere to be found policies!
We rightly call them Mobi*ick.

I had to pay via Amazon using the Amex Blue card redeeming only 2% supercash instead of 5%.

@pointshunter you can’t use pay electricity bill from balance added using CC.. This has been changed since 2-3 months

U can pay if you don’t use any coupon, last month I paid from wallet that was loaded with Amex CC
I really wonder who will use mobikwik other than few dimers, nobody cares these petty discount/CB and with these complicated T&C
These companies loot investors money and once in a while user’s money too smile

They never intimate users about policy changes and that’s one of their special policies.

All the responses to this thread just point out how Mobikwik changes their policies without mentioning it anywhere.

How can the policies affecting the customer be kept internal?!

Amazon also reduced the electricity bill payment amount but mentioned it clearly.

Many time i uploaded money from bank to wallet and paid bill via wallet immediately. Are you full kyc user or not?

I am full KYC user.
I experienced this issue for the 1st time as I was not paying bill thru Mobikwik.
Recently started as Amex increased the spend requirement.

Going by the comments, seems like 2-3 months since they implemented this.

Not 2-3 months, around an year I guess
Once CRED stopped accepting debit card I had to reopen Mobikwik after 4-5 years b’cos it was allowing DC for CC bills, around then I tried to pay power bill and got this message.
But last month surprisingly I paid thru wallet

Last month only i paid using wallet. Not faced any problem. Not sure as this month i paid by payzapp.

I had uninstalled the app after the data leak but greed got over my sanity.
Pathetic rules leave only Amazon or UPI payments as viable options.
Unfortunately, these unethical changes in internal policies are required for achieving profitability.
But by alienating the customer, they are closer towards the bankruptcy more than profitability
