need a quick suggestion on a sturdy smart mobile phone under 10K Rs under 6 inches of display for my father. He is a Senior Citizen with basic mobile usage, no major apps apart from whatsapp, youtube and all document reader.

unfortunately there is very little option in this segment. don't know why the manufacturers cannot produce a decent phone that can be operated by one hand. still using my 4 yr old huawei P20 lite for this reason

Requirements are a lag free experience, good battery , and overall long life of the phone (would be using for 3-4 years atleast). Do you think i should go for it ?
Or any other device in this price range.

CPU cores in SD680 are from 2017... Plus it might not support H.265 10-bit video decode in hardware. Adreno 618 in the overall much faster SD732G was dropping several frames in particularly image-heavy webpages resulting in choppy scrolling which doesn't augur well for the slower Adreno 610 in the SD680. I would bet that I wouldn't find it smooth enough while browsing the web today nevermind 3-4 years from now.
