Moneyback to millenia upgrade doubt

Millennia has 1 lac spend waiver criteria not 8Lac .Get the upgrade asap  much better that pos moneyback 

When you upgrade the points will be transferred to the new card account . Certain points are lost in conversion due to diff reward structure

Almost all hdfc cards can be made free by way of adding smartpay billers option & paying some utility bills once every quarter.

i have regalia card

i have upgrade offer to millenia card 

showing annual fee as 1000 didnt mentioned is it for 1st year or for second year onwards

i have 9620 reward points which equals to 1920 cash

if i upgrade the reward points transfered to millenia was only 4810 points(50%)

my doubt is generally in millenia card 1 reward point = 1 rupee (may be i am wrong)

if i upgrade the card those 4810 will be 4810 rs or how those reward points are valued

what shld i do ?

Search " Regalia vs Millennia" on YouTube. In short, if you travel a lot and can use reward points for Flight/hotel, use Regalia. Otherwise, Millennia

You should get Millennia credit card if Option is given. Just confirm with CC in mail if your card can be converted to LTF by spend based target (50k in first 90 days).

Now for reward points conversion. They’ll be converted accordingly. For example Money-back 1RP is 0.2₹, Millennia 1RP is 1₹. So if you had 100RP in money-back, then you’ll get 20RP in Millenia. Which you can redeem as 20₹. GK if helps.

I also have regalia and it would be a lie If I told this didn’t cross my mind. Will list out the benefits and then you can decide for yourself.
Regalia has international lounge access but millennia doesn’t (even domestic lounge access is less in millennia compared to regalia)
Milestone benefits – get 10k points on spends of 5L and additional 5k points on spends of 8L on regalia. For millennia spend 1L in a quarter and get 1000 voucher.
Smartbuy benefits – regalia has smartbuy benefits to get 5x points upto 4000(2000 capping in a single day) and millennia has cashback capping of 1000 per month.
Reward program – 4 points on spends of 150 on regalia(1.33% if redeemed for travel, else 0.7-0.8%)
5% cashback on preferred merchants(Zomato, amazon, Flipkart etc)
1% cashback on all other transactions (except fuel) monthly capping of 1000 points . No capping on regalia.

For travel, regalia is better else it’s a win for millennia.

Yes millennia is much better than money-back. If you think you can’t spend 1L in a year, just add a biller in billpay . Ideally the best valueback on this card is when one spends 4Ls annually (1L/ quarter) but even without that if most of your purchases are on amazon Flipkart Zomato, it’s a no brainer to upgrade. Do note that millennia also gives 1% cashback on wallet spends.

i think you can make ltf by spending 50k in 90 days to make the card ltf
