Need to buy for my grandmother.

Getting Narzo 50a for 8749
Motorola G31 for 12249

They both have the same processor, ram and storage.

Is Motorola G31 justified for the extra 3500?

I’d suggest Moto G31 due to better software experience.

Having used Motorola phones in the past, I can safely say that the difference in price is absolutely justified. You’ll get a near-stock android experience which will be a LOT easier for your grandmother compared to Narzo. From security perspective, it comes with Thinkshield protection. Fast charging and a bigger battery are other incentives in addition to quarterly software updates. Overall, it’ll be a much more stable phone and easier to use.

The build quality is pretty good at this price range but I’d still suggest using a shock-proof rubber back cover for extra protection.
