Pathetic in terms of software update, nowhere close to close to samsung in this regard. Camera quality is also poor compared to Samsung.
I have bought one Moto Phone - Moto G82 to one of the elder family member (two months ago). We wanted stock android with no bloatware and junk apps. Samsung was ruled out as his previous phone was Samsung and it had famous motherboard issue and we had to sell the phone.
I bought Moto G82 for around 20000. Phone is good till now but camera is very very average (Given the specs and price range). Hoping it will get better atleast by software updates. With two months experience, I can say Moto was good choice.
Camera sucks and not so great update..
Rest everything is good

I am using G40 fusion. Bought last year for 12k. I like it a lot except it doesn't have automatic voice call recorder and I can't remove its default emergency call with slight button press. I keep dialing it accidentally once or twice per day while unlocking screen
Overall a decent buy with respect to no bulky phone, no ads, no unnecessary apps, good battery backup, ok ok camera.
motorola
-stock android , no bloatsware
-FM radio
-but update wise they are bad , 5G update pending on my moto 5G phone yet

Used Moto devices for quite a long time alternatively with Xiaomi, Honor & Meizu. (Honor & Meizu not being stock, but still unique in looks, UI, camera etc)
I can say that Motorola has been the best in my experience.
Pros:
1: Amazing battery backup. (6000 mAh)
2: Stock android. (My usual preference, hence Mi A2 before using the current G60)
3: Super durable. (Had bought a Moto G5 for dad back in January 2018 for 6.3k which still works great, except for repairing the charging slot for once)
Also read this news: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.businessinside...
Cons:
1: Over exaggerated camera (108 MP on my G60 performs not as good as my 25 MP on my Mi A2) Both have front flash, however A2 still seems better for the front camera too.
Not sure about software updates, however getting usual security updates and will keep coming until 2 years of launch, for sure. They had given Android 12 not as late as some of their rivals. However my dad's G5 did not get good updates, also they're overall less in numbers in the market, as people preferred G5s or G5+
I've earlier used Moto E & also Moto E 2nd Generation and they were one of the best looking budget friendly devices back then. I used to change the back panel with Turquoise cover on E1 & also had ordered three different colour 'phone bands' while using E2.
I bought Moto G52 - best phone under 15k.
Pure Android, zero bloatware.
Regular updates so far.
Camera was average but with camera tuner updates, the images are very good now. Not to mention Gcam images are extremely good as well.

It is a good phone but you might face difficulty in finding service center if you living in tier 2 cities.

I use Motorola Edge 30 Ultra since last one month, really good for the price, camera software can be improved, hope they will cover it in future software upgrades. Airtel 5G works seamlessly here in Mumbai immediately after the first software upgrade. Android is near stock with relatively less bloatware.
Found it lagging, surprisingly, despite Stock ROM. Had got it for Dad, shifted from Samsung M30 to G60 and I am not happy with its performance. Having read comments here, yes, even the reception is pretty poor. I thought it was issue with Airtel Network, guess it is Moto issue as many a times, Dad has to go out from office to open area to get calls.
I haven't used moto from quite a time now, but it seems to be my next brand. While other brands are giving just 2-3 5G bands in their mobiles and calling them as 5G handset, Motorola is not compromising on 5G bands and giving 12-13 bands in almost all 5G mobiles.

I already use G60, and did not face any issues till date. Maybe Airtel is having issues specifically? Does it perform well on other devices? I've used Jio & Vi without any problems. Also it's not only about my current location, but be it Gujarat, Mumbai or even my relatives place where Airtel didn't connect, Jio had no issues with or without G60 whatsoever.

cashif wrote:Oh. Okay. I'll not defend Motorola but my experience did not go bad yet. There might be a possibility that the specific G60 you have, has issues or Airtel has issues or maybe something else. My G60 did not trouble me ever, touchwood. Not sure about network issues on G52/82.
