The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Wednesday relaxed the COVID-19 curbs to allow ecommerce and online food deliveries 24×7.

However, during the weekend lockdown, while the takeaways in person from hotels are not allowed, home deliveries are allowed, the order said.

Roadside foodstalls, including fruit stalls are allowed to provide takeaway parcels; customers will not be allowed to stand there and consume food, the order said.

Movement of maids, drivers, cooks, house help and nurses and medical trainees providing services to senior citizens and those ill at home, is allowed between 7 am and 10 pm on all days of the week.

Students or candidates who have to take exams during the weekend lockdown will be allowed to move around on the basis of their hall ticket, and in the company of one guardian/parent.

Eye clinics and optician shops are allowed to open in the given time, the order said.
