Good News for Mumbaikers who are full vaccinated. No Need to stand in long queues anymore. I personally haven’t taken my second vaccines but I am stoked that once I do I wont have to Stand in Lines stuck_out_tongue

PS- The state government portal that issues Universal Pass will be linked to the Railway’s UTS Mobile App, wherein the fully vaccinated person can buy a ticket directly on the mobile phone.

You Don’t need Hard Ticket. It’s Has the option “Book & Travel (Paperless)”. Honestly, it’s a great option, as it saves the forest and you do not have to worry about losing it. Just make sure you have internet.

Two types are there.
Ticketless and another which requires a ticket(fine if no print)

I had to take counter ticket recently, thankfully queue wasn’t that much relaxed

If in case my phone is dead and I don’t have any proof of the tkt which I’ve purchased then it becomes a pain.  I’ve personally user this app a lot but always have made sure I’ve the physical tkt too grinning

This is great use case and for people who are worrying about dead phone, you always have option of paper ticket so get that and don’t crib.

Ticket buying is linked to your univeral pass so one can only buy ticket for themselves and not for anyone else. So if you travelling with a child, you cannot get that child’s ticket.

This feature comes handy when ATVM is non functional and huge crowd at UTS counter , I step back few meters from railway station and book paperless ticket, in normal conditions I prefer printed ticket, I myself print it through ATVM,

PS: This government has tripled ordinary passenger train fare and not reduced even after changing train numbers.
