My CIBIL score is lower in SBI Database - Query

I get frequent calls for SBI credit cards from various agents every few days. The problem is that when they check my details in their system, the CIBIL score is not even eligible for application. They say its too less and I should apply after a few months. And this is happening since more than 3-4 months now.

I hold other Credit Cards with decent limits up to 2.4l. I checked my CIBIL score on One Score app recently, it is above 780.

Is there some different calculation that SBI follows to fetch the CIBIL score. I have a total of 7 cards. Can that be an issue ?

But that still doesn't justify the less score reason for not taking my application.

What is the easiest way to get an SBI card.

I read about SBI FBB card, but because of Fretail issues they stopped taking new applications post May 2022. Is OLA SBI easy to get?

Ay views/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

P.S : I don't hold an SBI account. I did, more than 5+yrs ago, they had offered me an LTF card back then, but I rejected it because I was too sceptical about credit cards at that point of time.

Is OLA SBI easy to get?

It is. While applying opt for c2c (they just need two recent statements of you existing cc)

1% cb (to olamoney wallet) for all online & offline transactions + regular bank discount/cashback offers. It used to be a great choice until SBI/Ola stopped 7% cb for wallet loads

Any idea about how much CIBIL is needed ?
If C2C is possible, then I have a 3-4 yr old card that I can use, thanks

750+ is enough for many banks/cc issuers. And regarding card age, i used a 2 month old cc and it worked

It might mean that SBI is taking up some different parameters as well.

One Score app is projecting an increase from 784 to 794 in the next refresh which is going to happen in 5 days, I know it not that accurate.

So I think I should probably wait till Feb and try applying if it crosses 800+
And now I will wake up from my dream 😬

Parameters aren't any different. It is just that these agents or SBI system considers this score to check if you're eligible or not
But when you apply for any credit card, bank/cc issuers makes a hard enquiry with credit bureau agencies (CIBIL, Experian) and fetches the updated score/report, followed by conditional approval + Final checks

For majority of users/credit card holders, cibil score rarely cross 800 & even if it does then it rarely stay above that level for more than few days/week.

SBI Ola card rejected, as a rebound applied for LIC Axis Signature through an agent, rejected again. Cibil score is going to bleed this month.

This rejection feels worse than my breakup 😭

Quick update: Cibil jumped to 797 from 785, no idea how.

2 cc enquires (both rejected)
