I work for Indian railways and have a Bob credit card.

Whenever I am applying for axis,icici ,Amazon pay icici credit card it's getting rejected straight away.

I don't have any loan till date.

I only have a Flipkart pay later in which there is no due.

Please suggest me on how to get a credit card and where am i going wrong?

Who told you that credit score above 750 gives guaranteed credit card?

Just saw somewhere that this is also one of the criteria.

Don't apply and get rejected for too many in a row.

Give it 6 months.

I read similar cases here:

Increase your limit with BoB and apply for new card on C2C only;

Fill up employment as 'self employed' never mention govt job until you get Axis/ICICI/HDFC cards

also open HDFC SB a/c and maintain good bal to get pre-approved card

You are not alone Infact many have got rejection despite having very good CIBIL score, & Salary slip. I don't know what is the logic behind the rejection. As far I know if you frequently apply for credit cards & get rejection & you keep applying credit cards of different banks. Wait at least 3 months before applying again.

Your pincode also matters, if you live in a neighborhood where lots of people don't pay loans or cc bills on time you'll get rejected

Check the full report once. Did you have any loan settlements made in the past? Some banks allow CC based on city you are residing at.
