My Dad got fever from 4 days after COVAXIN vaccine.

Hi Guys,
My father is 60 years old, already having Type 2 Diabetes, BP and Neuro Pain. Already he is taking medicine of these from 5 years.
He took vaccine of COVAXIN and he didnt face any issue on 1st and 2nd day. But from 3rd day (99.2 F) he got fever, and on 4th day its 102, after taking DOLO 650 it lowered to 98.3 and again next day its 100. It keeps varying from 98.3 to 102. in 5 days. Today is 5th day, still having fever of 100.
Over the phone we talked to a doctor, and he prescribed all the covid19 medicine (zinc, c, Azithromycin, Montair Lc, doxy etc). Here in Patna, there lots of rush at the RTPCR test center and nobody is providing home test. So kindly help me guys. My some friends are saying 2 days of fever is normal side effects. But he is having fever from 4 days.
He is looking weak now, not feeling to eat anything, we are giving dalia and khichdi, coconut water. And in medicine we are giving DOLO 2 times a day, zincovit, limcee. And other Diabetes, BP medicine already going on.
Is this side effect of COVAXIN or he got infected of Covid19 ? Kindly clear my doubt.
P.S: Oximeter levels are normal: 96-97

My experience with curing a severe Covid patient (My father-in-law) with HRCT scan score(20/25) spO2 level(73-87) :
1. Medicine works 50%, A good diet(consult a good dietician maybe online on Practo) works 50%. We were giving him home cooked food all five times(travelling thrice to the hospital daily).
2. Prone positioning using 5 pillows works wonder in increasing spO2 level.
3. Being there in the hospital 24*7 as an attendant. Taking care of medicine, injections, vitals monitoring, diet timings, fruits cutting, responding to the patient’s emotions etc.
4. Even If you are consulting other family docs or online docs by sharing the reports, always go with your in-hospital doc. In my case a family doc from a prestigious hospital told us to go for tocilizumab inj. immediately and we searched with all our energy for the injection all day and night. but the in-hospital doc told us to ignore the injection advice as according to him the situation was under control.
My Papaji got out of hospital in 10 days. He is still under medication. Recovering.

I am really scared. He is behaving like a child now, unable to talk bcz of weakness. He is very weak, and unable to lay down in prone position, even cant eat byself, we r feeding him like a baby with a spoon, and that too uncomfortable for him, because he is totally dependent on oxygen mask at 15litre/min
I couldn’t save my father,
he is no more. Mismanagement of hospital murdered my dad. No proper monitoring, no visit of docs. General protocol of treatment to all patient. No special attention to 60+ aged patient with prior medical issues.

I feel so down about how we arent able to save people. It’s feel like a loss for a someone we know who is our near dear
But this is the time we have to get back strong too.

It’s really shocking and heartbreaking to hear this.
Now, I’m not sure weather 60+ age groups should be taking vaccines or not. Especially people having prior medical conditions. I’m hearing a lot of cases like these lately.
