My experience with omnisd for jiophone Hotspot.

Saw a lot of videos people claiming can install omnisd on jio phone and enabled wifi hotspot.
Tried installing on an old xp machine. Driver got installed correctly and when run the s/w didn’t install it.
Found another video of the YouTube that some users got error so he gave a another working method for 3 different models.
Did it correctly but software said cannot do it from xp and need a win 7 machine. I got suspicious because it might be a malware since asking to switch off AV.
Didn’t wanted to take risk so have an old Acer Aspire netbook which had a corrupt win10 so formatted it for 6 hous loaded all drivers and since this omnisd doesn’t want anti virus installed phone drivers skipped it and ran the software. Again phone driver issue but in minutes the netbook locked out with ransomware warning.
I had no option to format and reinstall windows 7 on It spending another 6 hours since I didn’t make a shadow.
I abandoned the plan. If any of you guys have successfully installed wifi Hotspot please comment below.

Via s/w update it has to be enabled.. isn’t this working.??
that is a mistake done by jio. jio has been disabled the hotspot with a fresh update.
i already enabled hotspot feature on my jiophone F120B.
i followed youtube videos and the links for softwares and drivers given in the video description.
where you downloaded the software from? and what is your jiophone model number?
Guys i have recently purchased F220B model. It’s working fine with 49 plan. But want to activate Hotspot, any perfectly working videos?
Can’t we use a virtual machine for installation?
VM should be supported by pc but found a simpler alternative.
Have many spare hdd’s so found its easy and takes just a few minutes to replicate an entire partition. So made 4 copy of my win10 fresh install.
Will attempt to do this again on weekend without risking my data to randsonware.
