Is it a good idea to buy neckband earphones over tws today?
I myself find neckband ones more convenient for practical purposes as against carrying the case everywhere and keeping them in the case each time we remove them.
Also fear pf losing them in the crowded public transport.

I have just placed an order for oppo enco m31 for the LDAC and positive reviews all over the internet. I was considering oppo enco w11 tws as well. both were costing exactly the same at this point of time.

I myself find the neckband type convenient for my usage over true wireless type. I travel via public transport too and for the exact reasons i can’t even imagine carrying a TWS type earphone. I’ll surely lose them. With neckband type there’s no chance of losing them, also i can have them resting around my neck when i don’t need to use them. With TWS you gotta always have them plugged to your ears, that’s both annoying and risky.

I have no clue about that model you bought. I don’t buy Chinese stuffs unless from really good brand and OPPO actually is good for audio equipments, so i may check it out. But before Corona I was eyeing the Beyer Byrons which was available for around 2.5k on Headphonezone.

true, and i am just aware of the products i might get to see on fk and amazon so no clue of international brands. I was confused till last moment, but i watched few renowned youtube reviewers praising the sound quality and calling it unmatchable by even much expensive earphones.
Even though i feel i could have saved aprox 1k if i would settle for okayish quality because i may not need such hi-res audio for general use, but considering festive season i gifted it to myself. 😊

Why not one plus bullets z when you’re willing to spend 2k?

Firstly the earpiece part shape such that it would be uncomfortable to use while sleeping, and i saw comparison reviews and as a result m31 are better than oneplus
