Hi,
It will be really helpful if anyone here can refer me to a job.
I’m from West Bengal.
If provided proper salary(not expecting unusually high salary) willing to shift to another state also.
Done my B.Tech in CSE with 7.35 DGPA.
Was preparing for govt. jobs but after close calls in several exams and due to current scenario I lost hope and currently focusing on private jobs.

Interested in non-IT jobs.
In IT, I love networking.

PS: @admin ,if this kind of post is not allowed feel free to delete this post.

Do proper networking via Linkedin and be active on their job portal since it is very helpful.
You will surely get your job don’t worry.

Vu+, I wish there would be a job portal here legally.

Thanks. smile
So called job portals are total trash.
99% jobs I came across in those sites are fake and are either of fishy consultancy or scamsters.

I have been to that phase already. Got scammed by some job racketeers, asked for money as a processing fee for interview. However escaped from their 2nd round of scam of amount 5k after realising from their way of communication. I Totally agree with you.

Okay 7.35 DGPA is at par(average) if you say you did BTech in cse… I also have the same percentage coincidence!! We do have few similarities!!!
Anyway, I feel you could try to persist in govt jobs, I feel you left trying too early, maybe you can try some job and if you have the urge, you’ll study for that side by side, best of luck for your future plus1

@admin @bumblefoot @MJ911 somehow the above tag is not working however we try it. What could be the reason?

Bro if someone uses – or _ in their username ,
you need to do it like this,
give couple of ‘@’ in the beginning and in the end….enter the username in between without any space, It’ll work perfectly then

Yeah I know this method but generally don’t use as most of the tags work with a simple @ in the beginning of username.

But if you try to tag @Ash-D like that, you’ll tag @Ash so make sure you tag the right guy joy

Absolutely correct. Many among my friends as well as cousins were contacted by frauds, who ask to deposit money as job security, laptops and other bs.
If anyone lost money that way, police doesn’t help either.

Agree with the trying thing.
To OP, my cousin is HSLC 15th and HS 9th (SEBA and AHSEC) rank holder, passed from Assam Engineering college, jalukbari with flying colors and he didn’t get any state govt jobs for 5 years and finally joined a private job for 8k (his mom refused to send him to another state as he’s an only child and too bhola type.. so fear of getting bullied/fraud confused)
On his 7th year, he finally got a govt job.
So try, try again. Even among the mass bribing/cheating scenarios, you might get lucky here or there.

Well I agree with you 💯%, I know it’s real tough especially more when I’m general candidate, but then one needs to be optimistic about it and persistence is the key…..game of chess (patience) more than anything else.

General candidate here weary
And that’s why I lost out my seat to study surgery despite having higher marks then some pretty low scorers who are not even from poor families.
I seriously hate this reservation thing.

Yes happens everywhere,
Last line, Me too
But then when I grew older, I asked myself, “what would you do if you were a reserved candidate yourself”, Answer came “I would take any opportunity that comes my way” so can’t blame the candidates, you don’t get to choose when you’re standing with your back against the wall,
I’m blaming the govt though, left right whoever comes, it’ll remain the same, afterall vote bank matters so no-one in power will try to make a change,
these EWS bla bla are nothing but eye-wash…

Yes the reservation system needs a serious up-gradation.
I don’t want to turn this thread into some debate and getting it moved to ‘Politics’ section so not elaborating much on this matter.

And then these politicians will cry about brain drain. Ironically, they would also ask to study here while sending their own dumb kids outside with a hefty “donations”.
Anyways I don’t want to turn someone else’s thread into a political fight but the scenario is pretty depressing for general candidates. Not everyone of us had rich, money hungry, cruel landowners expressionless
Many among general students are from poor families too.

Leave everything else and say people should be qualified enough to do mainstream politics, to hold powerful posts
Cause we saw time and again over the history of India what happened with these half/illiterate politicians (jokes)
