Hi guys,

I need a monitor of any size (13"-17")for 4 cameras for my CCTV setup for home use. (HDMI preferable, and should switch ON 12hr a day)

Currently I am using a old 22" LG TV as monitor using HDMI cable. But I feel its consuming electricity more than a normal monitor.

TV or monitor, which is good for CCTV which consumes less power, and can work for 12hr a day, during night I switch off the screen.

Except the display size, there are hardly any details in your post. Usually TVs consume more power than monitors. But again it depends on technology. An LED TV might consume less power than a LCD monitor. Better check the product wattage for initial comparison.
