Need advice regarding complaints to Ombudsman for Kotak dormant account.

Hello There,
I had a Kotak 811 basic account which I created 4 years back and as I didn't use it for more than 1 year they made my account dormant with the balance of Rs. 109.
I never noticed this until I applied their cc 2 times and they declined the card both times because of the dormancy.
I visited a branch in my hometown a total of 2 times in a year and they declined to assist me and said there is some KYC error which can't be resolved.
I asked them to close my account, They said it can't be closed as there is no kyc and told me to wait for a year and the account will be auto closed and so.
Then I left and filed a complaint to rbi with a fine asked for Rs. 10L(May be in greed and frustration).
Now, I received a call from my home branch in NCR by a branch manager and he said it could be done and resolved in a day but the branch i visited was goofed up and he asked me to wait for few days, All this happened within a week after filing complaint to RBI and they know about ir.
Can anybody guide, Or suggest what I can do, Can I ask them for a fine which I did through RBI.

Normal process for filing a complaint in any bank is in the following order: Customer care>Nodal officer>Appellate officer> Ombudsman
If you have followed this route with appropriate timelines and have records then only you can claim any compensation.

Compensation is as per rules & norms, one can't just ask for any amt as compensation for any complaint.

Did they charged anything for dormant ac of kotak saving ac? As sometime it happen balance becomes negative for not keeping or using ac

Its not negative, Its positive but restricted the credit and debit thing.

If they are working on your concern now and resolve it in the coming days then you cannot ask for compensation. Compensation is only awarded when they r unable to resolve it on time.
