You are right.

Technology helps us packs thin slices of GMO potatoes fried in hydrogenated vegetable (palm) oil.

Then technologies like Amazon Videos, Netflix make it easier to consume those excessively salted pieces of slow poison.

And then finally, technologies in gymnasiums and unrealistic expectations set by pop culture make it easier to reverse the health hazards, while adding new ones.

Get this , no questions asked .

Don't go for manual ... as in pregnancy comes with lots of headaches .. don't add manual pumping into the list , as lot-lots of regular pumping will be required .

And don't go for recent internet brands like rabit , mee mee , pee pee etc .

Luvlap is fine. Phillips is costly and gives the same amount of suction power.

Don't go for Medela, they are too expensive and not that much suction power and also the parts (like plastic valves) are very
expensive.

if you want a manual pump check this., THE BEST in terms of low effort and high suction. https://www.1mg.com/otc/adore-extrusion-breast-...

And this below one, you don't even need to put effort...

Not medical, but it's a common physiological requirement.

All this mattered 5000 years back, or till the end of Sat-yug.

THIS (present day) definitely isn't sat-yug.
Rules of the game (of nature, evolution) are being re-written (by other than nature).
‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ ‏‏ ‎ ‏‏‎‏‏‎ You ARE right about 'mother-baby direct contact', releasing neuropeptides or other hormones.
Also, the more the mother is in contact with the baby.. the more the mother's body too directly detects the pathogens or other bad microbes which might be on the baby or in the baby.
And this😊👌🏽 triggers the production of the relevant antibodies or proteins in the mother's milk.
(This is nature's way of technology transfer, information neural autobahns).

Yodaa For 3000 INR budget, Philips electric is obviously out of question.

Luvlap is an average to above average brand and such electric products too are about average.

Unsure if they are fully assembling the pumps in India or elsewhere.

Among within reach brands, Avent models of Philips do have fair price to performance ratio.
(By within reach, I meant that even better products are available in Europe, Singapore or North America too, but having them reshipped here, without warranty is not worth the effort, costs).

If 3000 to 4000 budget is final, then in electric type... you might have to opt for second rung brands.
(I won't refer to them as mee mee pee pee, like the other person above, but yeah, the brands which are more focussed on digital sales, on-line marketing .. are generally garbage. This includes even brands like Dr. Trust etcetera).

Also, if manual pumps too are time consuming, then sometimes it can be supplemented with normal procedures like 'hand expression'.
(Won't share those links. But even youtube has ample resources and many mothers vouch for 'hand expression' too being an effective tool.)

Bought Philips Avent manual pump last year for around 500 due to price error. It's good and does the job. Most of the time baby will be latching to mother's breast and the pump will come handy only in situations where you're traveling or feeding newborn with jhunuk.
