Politely ask customers to review on google. Only genuine reviews are worth anything. You can give a start by reviewing from your and family accounts.

Some pay for these reviews

  • Rate our business on google
  • Take a screenshot
  • Share it with us to win 10/50rs PayTm or a coupon (Many Amazon sellers follow the same tactic to make sure every buyer rates their product (Reviews from Verified Purchasers are more valuable*), even some new apps/services to get good ratings on Google PlayStore)

Is that legal as per their tnc?
I saw many sellers on Amazon/fk who were offering 100₹ paytm in exchange of reviews, and after sometime those sellers were either delisted or dead.
Just curious.

Their is no validation on reviews from Google side. So anyone can give review. Paid or free.

Why not?
Those sellers (who got delisted) did something else or weren’t smart with their communication w.r.t incentives

If someone thinks a product is bad, he wouldn’t be bothering to post a 5-star review for mere 10/50/100rs exchange. Only those who are satisfied with the product will do and this by no means misguide the future purchasers. For sure, there’s manipulation involved to get more reviews but who doesn’t do that?
Multiple times I got mails/calls from Flipkart to review a particular product and some brands like lifelong provide 6/12 month extended warranty upon reviewing the product+Share the screenshot

Reminded me of a funny incident: Once I bought some small product worth around 250 which was from a new seller; The product happened to be a complete crappy duplicate, however the seller had asked for a 5 star rating in return for 100 bucks; so me being a Dimer, went ahead and gave it a 5-star rating and sent the screenshot; got the 100 as paytm balance the next day… I then changed the rating to 1 star, filed for a return in Amazon and returned the product and got back the 250 too as apay balance. Sometimes I feel it was evil of me to do that 😅
