You should first describe all events leading to blocking of account. Then only expect help. Appeal the decision as mentioned in mail.

Yesterday, I just ordered 500 Rs GV using EMAIL500 code around 7:30 PM. Then after 6 hours, I got this mail. No CC/DC is linked with this account as I use SBI debit card.

Did you add different amazon accounts to buy 500 GV and then added all in one account using same/different credit/debit cards ?

I bought this GV from 2-3 accounts using the same debit card. But for SBI they redirect to billdesk payment gateway, where I need to give my card info. Does billdesk share card details with Amazon? Also I did all those transactions changing IP (rebooting router) and in private session and delivery addresses were different.

It means its a warning for everybody having multiple accounts…managing multiple accounts of other family/friend’s accounts. We tend to make a mistake after a while by entering same DC/CC or even IP address…or delivery address. ..
I thought only mobikwik is genius to decide that one has multiple accounts based on DC/CC/IP address..etc but it seems slowly everybody is following the same. Better all these e-Commerce people make KYC account mandatory for offers instead of suspecting customers.

OP you must have made a very simple mistake like mentioned above and may not able to recollect it now…like same device….etc
If you are sure you did not then appeal their decision and fight. Hopefully Amazon resolves it in your favour…otherwise also how does it matter…just few offers you miss so take it easy and move on to FK/SD…

Did you transfer all GV in one account? If yes then this must be the point of blocking.
We should not use same card in different accounts.
Appeal to them is the only point left now IMHO

You got it @makeourdeal. We can not be sure what happens at the backend but only guess. My guess is Amazon must be getting card details albeit not full but say first 4 and last four digits….

There is no point now in arguing with Amazon as they believe in theory of DC/CC like mobikwik. Hope you do not have money in wallet.
Update the thread with final result.

Buddy, as you mentioned in above posts, using multiple accounts to take advantage of Amazon promotion is against their terms of service. They can track multiple accounts using cookies, IP address, Delivery address, Ph number, DC/CC details etc. I don’t think Amazon would unblock your account.

No i have not redeemed a single GV yet. This was doing since last 6 months. Because other accounts are of my family member. It is not feasible to ask them for OTP for everytime

Amazon uses a very complex algorithm to detect fraud transactions. I’m aware of a few other ways how they track such transactions. I will not be disclosing them here since it will lead to misuse.

That is account of my family member. In India, usually, there are 5-6 people. Mostly connected via wifi. So IP and delivery address will be same. I cant understand amazon policy here.

When i used to stay with my parents, Everyone at home including my brother were on Same IP address. Delivery address was the same as well but Credit card associated with the account was different since each of us had different CC’s. We must have placed more than 250 orders from Amazon since last 2 -3 years. Not once our account was flagged. IP address, delivery address alone does not trigger alert.
