Need help.. Can't send Sms from vi.. Not even port sms

Need help.. It’s been 15 days in no able to send Sms from vi number.. I have around 27 in secondary and Rs. 10 in main balance. Multiple complaints done and they just close the case without doing anything.. I’m not even able to send port sms to 1900… I have even logged complain on ConsumerComplaints.in but there also no response. If anyone can help me.. Is it possible to port without sending sms? Or any way to send just one Sms

Had you taken any credit or loan
If any there recharge with main balance to clear that

No.. Never.. They keep on deducting from main balance but I haven’t done anything

Check message centre number. And also try by change sim to other handset. No way to port without sending message. If not solved then complaint in appellate authority. No other way. Consumer helpline does nothing as my experience with all cases, they only forward complaints in your behalf.

Try to connect with vi support in twitter… They will solve the problem in just 30 minutes.. 🙂

Even though you have main balance or sms balance You have to recharge for 49 or above for sms to work, I faced the same issue 3 days back.
To test try sending sms to 199, you will be able to send.

Already complained on Twitter twice nothing done..
Recharge done validity valid till 15th Jan secondary balance is also there

Have you tried sending SMS to others(friends//relatives//) if not successful then, they want users to be on unlimited plan to be able to send SMSes

Same happening with my friends idea sim too , not able to send any SMS since 3days, even having all validities 🤔

Have same issue someday before…
I already have 49 Recharge..
Just Recharge with ₹12 Sms pack and it’s working

Send “all” to 199, If you are getting reply as " Hello, This service is available to only valid subscribers"
Then issue is with recharge validity of your account.
It got fixed for me after recharging with 49.

Did you try from other device should be some settings with related to default country code

49 recharge using balance never worked for me
I recharge 48 which gives 3 gb + validity also

But main balance option not showing up while doing recharge.. does it show for u? Can we  send sms if we recharge 48rs?

Did you try to sending sms from other device. Once insert Sim in any other device and try. This worked for me couple of months back.

Send a mail to kmb and team. Your sms facility is blocked. Be*en ke l*de did the same to me years back. When you will ask them why it was blocked without permission, they will just say sorry. Oh and keep ambani in cc taki aur mirchi lage haramjado ko.

Recharge with 49 or any unlimited pack above 129. I have recharged with 39 (received 28 days validity) and 12sms pack but was unable to send sms then called customer care they replied minimum 46 service validity plan required.

yes… exactly same happened with me, called vi cust care were asking me to wait for 4 hrs as there was some system updation going at their end so they could not checked my details.
when i rebuked them then their system suddenly started working and she told me exactly what u have mentioned. smile smile

Yep that was the problem and even Vodafone customer care couldn’t solve this they kept on asking questions like my location, floor number, signal strength which phone I’m using blah blah..

After 49 recharge I was able to send Sms.. Lol
