Need help in closing Pockets wallet account

Hi! Friends I hv a pockets account that hv invalid card (although card is valid till 2022) when funding & when trying to close wallet it’s saying first use available balance now the issue is there is ₹ 0.60 in my account now what are the available options to close current wallet to create new one with same number…?
Customer care is helpless contacted via mail but they are of no help

Did they just told me to transfer/use funds first then only we can help in closing account & both are not possible as per my experience…
You cannot add fund to an inactive wallet because of kyc expiration. Your only option is to contact Pockets customer care via email & request them to transfer any balance amount to bank acc details given by you in the email. Also once your pockets acc is closed you won’t be able to create a new pockets acc with same number/details.
@saucap @getready they r allowing to create new wallet account with same number bt u hv to inform them to delink your number..(might help u as well )
Going to fill payments bank details to recieve this amount & then will follow further…. Btw is it worth as now they hv introduced scratch card system..☹️🤔

I think there is no way to close pockets account permanently
There is no way to change account details either (Name*)
I’ve tried it once (Close account to avoid certain issues w/ iMobile App) via chat support but it didn’t work so gave up!
Seems KYC issue bro… To recheck you may try to load small amount via UPI pockets.yourmobilenumber@icici
you need to call Pockets Toll Free ( 022-50405238) and get your account and card unblocked after that make any payment using Pockets card and close Your account

I dont have much idea about pockets app..
i assume pockets app is similar to freecharge (owned by axis).. so try to recharge by combining available wallet balance+ another online method, by which you can empty your wallet balance . Or did you changed your mobile device recently? If yes means try with that same device once .
Or ask any other people using pockets to transfer wallet to wallet balance (by making it as round usable figure).
No other solution from me as of now.. !

They will say– you can uninstall the app if you don’t want to use our services.
Regarding wallet inactive//unable to add money, call on the customer care number and tell the problem; the executive will confirm some details and reactivate the wallet. You can send money via UPI to your wallet (××.40 also so that the paise part nulls) and use the money through the card details.
Kyc is not a barrier then?
I opened this account in 2016 at that there was nothing like kyc 🤬 i don’t remember If I submitted later or not will ask cc tomorrow morning… Thanks for help…

All this hassle, I guess it is better to just opt for icici insta saving acc linked to same number as pockets by aadhaar otp(assuming it is not must to have same number linked to aadhaar also to be linked with insta savings acc) & video kyc & as per them it should be ready within 4 min. Since physical debit card delivery takes at least a few days so cancel that by calling customer care & that leaves with only the condition of maintaining min 10k balance in account.
