Need help in deciding the phone

Hello Folks,

I think I need an upgrade to my existing Redmi 5 phone :p its been a while. Here is what I am looking at

Budget : 10-15kish

Screen : amoled display

Software Upgrade : Atleast 3-4 years of upgrade required

RAM : 4-6+ GB RAM

Processor : 6nm chipset - Helio G99, Snapdragon etc., basically one which is fast enough for even basic video edit/rendering

Most phones I found have good processor but just HD screen . and vicevarsa sad any idea if I can really get a phone having all these specs.

Your budget is too low for the specifications listed. Only very few companies offer 4-5 years of updates, especially no chinese company offers that much for a low end android phone. Either up your budget or settle for what you get at that price range.

6nm - Nope, though powerful enough for daily tasks.

Bought this for Rs.10250 in August, the lowest was 9750 for 6GB/64GB variant.

Is anyone using poco m4 pro with latest Android 12. Any improvement in battery backup.?

Redmi Note 12 series even though pretty overpriced and and significantly above budget for the 6GB variant (4GB variant shouldn't be considered at all) meets most of your requirements. 3 years of updates is quite likely as it has been the norm? since the 10 series. You can probably find similar offerings from other Chinese companies but close to the 20k mark at which point the Poco F4 5G is a way better choice.
