Hello, I am facing a problem - When I logged in to my Union Bank online banking id, I have seen a new current account in operative accounts category. I haven't applied for any current account and I don not need any alsoI tried to chat with customer care, but after making me wait and for over half an hour, the agent asked me to visit the branch. Looks like he never understood the issue or faked to have not understood, he kept asking what type of error I am getting and so on, when I was clearly mentioning the issue.
I am not staying at my place at present and so cannot visit the branch.
If anyone knows anything in this regard please help.
More Info:
I have recently applied for a debit card ( since I needed a debit card to get a transaction password) and got it. The current account seems to have been opened during that time. I made a fixed deposit from the balance in my savings account and it is for that I needed the transaction password, otherwise I usually use upi for normal transactions. I have no clue how the current account was created and why it is there.
Does anyone know what that current account is, does union bank automatically create such accounts? please provide some info. I am concerned about any charges for not maintaining balance. Right now the balance is zero. The type of account mentioned is 'Current' and category is 'CARCC'. The account number is prefixed with R- and followed by the same number as my savings account number. I do not have much knowledge of banking, except doing transactions. Please help if anyone knows what this is. Thanks in advance.

Ok, no one answered here, but I got the required info from other sources. I'm providing that info here for those interested:
That's just a normal wallet account that is created when the debit card is issued if it is a qSPARC card. Since this type of card can act like a prepaid card for metro recharges and such, a wallet is created which has a limit of Rs 2000. The wallet account shows as a current account in our online banking page with the same number as the savings account number prefixed with 'R-'
Hope this info helps someone in future.
