Need Help to choose bank account

Hi,
I am planning to open a bank account, i can maintain 1 lac avg balance.

Please suggest best bank account in which i get debit card rewards for paying through cheq.

Wealth account is better but only very few branches allows to open account with ₹5 lakhs most of them ask for ₹10 lakhs

P.S :- during account opening I received SMS from ICICI that my mobile number is registered for Bank SMS.. but now in WhatsApp banking/net banking login,it's showing mobile number not registered. Also UPI still not detecting any ICICI account.

Also not got any credit sms now. Added about 5.1 K in 4-5 tranches. @guest_999 @timelord

You need to contact icici customer care to confirm your user id has been linked with mobile number as it takes usually a few days after the request.

Ok. But in net banking-> personal details -> it's showing last 4 Digits of mobile number correctly. @timelord

From my experience of using their credit cards, icici system is not a single entity where one linkage of mobile number will be applied automatically to all other parts of the system. It is always better to call customer care. Also, if you haven't yet got your userid(aka not login via mobile no.) then also there is good chance that mobile no. not yet linked in all places of the system.

it shows "Metro / Urban branches: AMB Rs.10,000/-, or Fixed Deposit of
Rs 1 Lakh for minimum 1 year 1 day period (w.e.f 1st July’22),". So i
wanted to know if i withdraw my FD after maturity i.e, 1 year 1 day,
then i have to again maintain AMB of 10000 ? or this FD is just a one-time thing which will make the account zero-balance MAB (even after withdrawing FD after 1 year 1 day maturity)

No one time condition, if you withdraw fd after 1 year 1 day then you need to maintain 10k mab in savings acc to avoid non-maintenance charges.

1) I withdrew money after receiving debit card/cheque book and collecting passbook from branch.

Is Debit Card details required to login netbanking?

I did the same, completed vkyc.

Wait for some time. Video KYC didn't update instantly for me too. Wait till debit card/cheque book dispatch SMS/email arrives

"kindly visit your nearest ICICI Bank branch to open a Savings Account"

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

If you previously held an ICICI savings account with the same PAN, then you can't open this account. Digital account opening is ONLY for new customers to ICICI.

This is my first time opening an account with ICICI. This error is occuring at different stages of the process. I will contact the customer care tonight. Maybe they will know what to do.

I tried the process again and this time the error was different. It said I already have an account with the bank. Maybe the previous owner of this mobile number had an account. I have been using it for about a decade though. Don't like to deal with bank employees and customer care so giving up on this idea.
