Try to contact directly Moto/LG service center. I think Jeevas is the 3rd party tied up with Flipkart for Services? For panel, there may be official price list on their site? (mostly available for mobile screen)
Hi Folks,
I had purchased https://www.flipkart.com/motorola-zx-pro-109-cm... for about ~23K i suppose on 3/10/21 in their BBD sale with the help of @ Mayavi. This Tv is fantastic for the price i paid for this one.
Last month itself i finished clearing all my emi dues for this one
My nephew recently just hit his hand on the display and the right part of this Tv has a crack on the display (which is internal) and a spot where the intensity was maximum and lines too on the Tv all because this hit.
I had called the Moto helpline (managed by Jeevas) itself. The technician came to check this product and informed me that this is a physical damange and won't be covered under warranty (which was obvious). On asking a quote for this he told me that it will cost me about ~30K to fix this display panel. I was like ***** i'll get you a new piece from FK cheaper than this one for a better price. He said he can't do anything as his TL has conveyed this to him and he's helpless which is also fine. He was adamant and he did not share his TL's no with me so i told him to share the pricelist with me for this product.
He shared their Jeevas office address near to my residence and told me that i'll put your case on estimation pending and someone from Jeevas would call you and provide me with a pricelist.
Now i am totally in distress due to this unforunate incident (i wasn't there at home, my parents were there but this happened in a fraction of second so i don't want to play any blame game)
What can i do in this case?
1. Fight with Jeevas and contact PG portal too if required since a repair of a part is going beyond my buying price which is unacceptable. Or is there anything you can can suggest me to do in this case?
I am already tensed and frustrated in my personal/professional life due to several reasons and top of that i got a mini heart attack yesterday.
Requesting you Dimers to please help me in this regard. You're help will be greatly appreciated.

Jeeva is a 3rd party service provider, bhai. As @Mayavi has already mentioned to directly contact the service center of the brand. 🙂🙂🙂 But the repair cost will still remain on steeper side. 😭
Get it changed from local market.

Yep, FK is taking care of Moto Tv and i am unable to find any pricelist on Moto website nor any support on this. This is the only support i could find for this -

Sell it to some TV repair shop and go for new one in Prime day sale
Panel change may cost u no less than 15K(~70% of TV price) so better go for new TV
It hurts but what can we do, sometimes problems come uninvited in big Q; accept the loss, be strong, save more earn more

From Google Search - For 32" LG LED TV Screen Replacement Cost - It cost around 10k-13k+.
So, surely for 43" - minimum It takes around 20k+.
Panels are always this costly once technician told me 32" panel cost 12k i think u have 40-43 inch so i think that will cost around 18k from third party
you should have claimed that it is bled from the inside and no damage was caused from the outside. As the cracks are not visible on the outisde.
Vinod358 wrote:The reason i did not contact any local shop is because this Tv is still under brand warranty which is ideally of no use right now but still i didn't knew it would turn out to be 30K in this case
Check with local shops as wel,l as this is not going to be covered under warranty
MrKool_JJ wrote:Agree..This is the biggest issue with repairs..

Will need to get some quote from a genuine and trusted guy who will get this fixed at a resonable price. But they can still replace any working product with a duplicate one which would hardly work for few months and again i'll contact that same vendor and he'll tell me this time xyz is gone and try to fool me everytime so trust is an issue in such cases.

Take care of your health first.
This thing looks damaged enough and has clear indication of physical damage.
Still you may try to send picture to some higher up official of moto - send them both of the pictures ie one is TV on state and another one is TV is in powered down state as there's no physical damage visible when the TV when it's off you just might get lucky.

Sell it for whatever it's worth. Next time take extended/comprehensive warranty
It's still under warranty and physical damages are not covered in any kind of warranty, wether its Brand warranty or Extended warranty. AFAIK. 😔

Vinod358 wrote:@MrKool_JJ Last option give jeeves person chai paani, he will ask for 8-10k atleast and get him to replace under warranty.he might not forward physical damage issue ahead.it all depends upon him in this case.
Jeevas is shit..One of the worst service.. Check with official store.. Even if you contact FK, they will send Jeevas people only..
Vinod358 wrote:Bad idea, they will charge around 10-15k with no warranty and slowly whole tv will go bad.

You can't complain to PG portal for repair cost. There is no rule on how much a TV spare should cost. However, you can file a case in consumer forum as this is arm twisting. If the judge is in good mood you may have some luck.
buy a new one bro .. sell this one to local shop. No point in fighting with Jeevas. They are doing their job and that's how they earn money
TVs are much cheaper now
maybe you are shocked because it has happened first time bro... these days everything is same bro... tv's/Mobiles etc
they are not made non-repairable so the costs are huge for a repair,
better to follow above suggestions to sell off
Sell it to some TV repair shop and go for new one in Prime day sale
Panel change may cost u no less than 15K(~70% of TV price) so better go for new TV

One Quick Update - My health was not gone for a toss but yes because of this i was little bit upset and i also did vent out my anger one of my female colleague in office on one of the topic while we were chatting but that was a temporary phase and was out of this in the next few days but since the moto guys quoted us 29k and local guy told me 15k i had decided to purchase a new set itself instead of getting this repaired and since it was an accident i did not think about that much.

So this week went to Kohinoor to purchase a new LED TV and had decided to go for Sony itself. Went there and told them i need the 43' 4k tv itself the rep showed us one model and told my parents let's lock it right away. Waited for about 1-1.5 hours to make sure i get the best deal (had to negotiate to the core) and finally bought Sony X75k 43' 4k led tv for 45k under exchange with 5% cb on my cc so effective price for me was around 43.1k under 3months no cost emi and the experience is <3
PS - I did read each and every comment posted here and did reply to a few of them and missed some as well but all your suggestions was there on my mind.
Thank you all for your comments and your concern

Bro 1st put that Tv out of your mind you had a small heart attack which I believe is due to that chronic stress only. I really don't know what are the things which you are facing in your life but really nothing is worth against your health. So first and foremost work on your health it's really not a good sign and will only bring bigger future issues if not dealt properly today.
I don't intent to lecture you but my dad's 2 arteries got blocked 3 years ago & he have 2 stunts now to which I know what he goes through daily : lifetime medicines, so many precautions & all even then we know how prone he is to future attacks so really can't see anyone else in the same shoe.
So see a doctor which I am sure you already have & eliminate every future possibility of it. Your health is your biggest asset and nothing can beat it as once you will loose it nothing can bring it back and same things you might be loosing it for won't even matter then.
Now coming to the TV here's my thought which is quite similar to others, first get the quotes from brand & locally too but in both the cases it won't be cheap as these TV's are kind of Razor Blade Model. Local repairs won't be reliable even if you save some bucks there.
So I would say get it sold and buy a new one as sale is coming which is a good thing & you might crack a good deal. If budget doesn't allow get a smaller one as modern generations are really not into TV's and for family/parents even 32" is more than enough.
Don't stress yourself anymore I am telling you it's really not worth it as things happen no matter what and losing your health over things which you really can't change is really not a good idea.
