Hi Dimers,
I have been using Spectranet since last few years. My plan is 1gbps unlimited @1249+18%=1474.
Since last few days, I have been facing problem in YouTube playback. It buffers a lot. It happens with all the devices like Windows PC, fire TV stick, Nvidia shield, Mi TV, etc. All my devices are on wired internet. I have tested them with Wifi also but same problem. All other apps (Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Netflix, Sonyliv) work fine.
I have tried different DNS (Spectranet, Google, OpenDNS, Cloudflare, Quad) but it didn't solve the problem.
It works fine if I install and enable Cloudflare WARP on Windows PC but that's not possible for all the devices.
YouTube works great (4K) on all the devices when I used my mobile phone's hotspot with Jio 5G.
Now, I am planning to change Spectranet. I will go for either Airtel or Jio Fiber. I have both options available. I will be ok with 200-300mbps speed.
Please tell me Pros and Cons of Airtel and Jio Fiber.
And which plan do you guys suggest?

I haven't used either myself but I have heard good things about both from people using them. JioFiber's starting plans do tend to be around 10-20% cheaper than Airtel. I do not remember comparing the intermediate and higher plans. If you have Airtel Postpaid and/or DTH you may be able to combine them and get some discount.
Personally I find Jio Fiber better VFM + they have more OTT offerings

I have subscription of all apps my family needs like Hotstar Premium, Sonyliv Premium, Voot, Youtube Premium, Discovery+ and Netflix (Netflix is shared at Rs.163 per month).
I also have devices (AFTS, Shield, etc.) connected to all 4 TVs at home.
So, I will consider plans without OTT offering.

I used to be just like you but in the end it was much cheaper to take OTT bundle via Jio FIber
I'm on the postpaid plan ₹899 (150 MBps + all OTT except Prime and Netflix).
Amazon Prime I got for ₹999 via trading forum
Netflix I pay ₹500 annual (Ultra plan, single screen, one device) from reseller on Instagram.
YT premium I use family plan to offset the cost.
First check whether Airtel is having fiber connection or copper connection at your location. There are still many areas where Airtel is still using old copper based VDSL but falsely markets it. Very clearly ask whether it is copper connection or not.
Similarly check with Jio whether ports are available or not.

If you have Airtel DTH or postpaid then take Airtel Fiber and opt for Airtel black plan

I am using jiofiber and face similar issue.
I see delay in loading pages, when I check for speeds, it's says ping is good 15ms blah blah... Previously used BSNL pages used to load without delay

If I get a plan bundled with OTT, can I use apps on multiple TVs/mobile/laptop in my home?
I have finalised Airtel's this plan:
Entertainment + TV
Rs.1099 + GST = Rs.1297
200 Mbps
30-DAY's Trial
1 year of Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar & 10 more OTT apps
350+ TV channels extra & much more
Free Wifi Router
My Amazon Prime subscription is valid till October, 2023, will it be extended for one year?
My existing Hotstar premium (4K, 4 log-ins) in expiring on 30th March.
Hotstar included in this pack is premium 4K or any cheaper plan? Can I use it Hotstar my other 2-3 TVs/laptop?

Which of jio or airtel, block less number of sites ?
Thank you for yours suggestions guys, I have taken 999+GST plan with annual payment with 15% discount for Rs.12024.
I have many friends in my society using Airtel Fiber and everyone is more than happy so I find it safe to pay in advance for one year.
It includes one year prime membership (all benefits including free & fast shipping) and Disney+Hotstar (2 screens 1080p)
