Need review for Roof top Solar to save electricity bill

Hello Dimers,
as want to save everywhere as a dimer, currently the biggest expenditure we have is electricity bill, i live in punjab and per unit cost comes to around 8-9 per unit.
i am planning to install a roof top solar, i read some article that PSPCL punjab electricity board is installing 22000 per KW, but wanted to get reviews of dimers and Other states users review are they beneficial, and is Return on Investment is good or not.

installing solar system for 24/7 use is expensive, it takes 15-20 years to get back your initial investment through savings in electric bill

One more interesting point, Sun gives so much energy in 1 day that it can provide energy to all Human Needs for 1 year.
