Need some suggestions on riding gear

Hello all!

I need some suggestions on riding gears for RC390. And my usage is to office on weekdays and I plan to go to nearby places(200 kms?) on 1-2 weekends a month. I am a fairly new bike rider.

1) I see there a lot of brands and lot of price variation between then. Now I realized costlier doens't necessarily mean better. For example Solace vs Rynox jacket. Apparently Solace uses better fabric and same level 2 protection for 3-4k cheaper than Rynox (I forgot model names, but you get the point). I am not planning to get a jacket as of now, Is it a bad idea given my close to none experience with bikes?

2) Similarly there are many helmets around 5k(my budget). Which one is the best? Thinking of Axor for now.

3) I see gloves priced around 3.5-4k. Do I need to buy such costly ones for my usage? I definitely need good protection as I am new rider, but any decent ones in lesser price without compromising on basic required safety? Also any brand suggestion for gloves?

4) Slightly off topic, Do I have to cancel my RC booking and wait for R3 😛? Any idea when it might launch?

I do small rides once a month(120-150kms) as I don't have the proper gear, saving amount to get the good riding gear one by one.

there are a few biker groups in reddit search for them and ask for suggestions there too.

below are my suggestions, visit the nearest store, do a trial for the perfect sizes then buy online/offline at your convenience.

1st priority Helmet get a good one, check MT Targo or MT thunder sv 3(I'm using a steel bird helmet, and will upgrade to one of these helmets within a week)

2nd gloves(I'm using viaterra holeshot)

3rd boots(I'm using Raida boots)

4th jacket, many people say Rynox jackets are very comfortable, check they have recently launched a Cypher jacket in the 5k range

5th riding pants or else get those protectors.

be safe ride safe (never compromise on safety).

Thanks for commenting your suggestions.

I am almost fixed on getting Axor Street helmet. It comes with anti fog layer applied on the visor.

Thanks for the Rynox cypher gt jacket suggestion. Did not know Rynox jackets come in this price of 5k. Will look more about it. Earlier I was thinking about getting a solace one.

Gloves are too costly at 3.5k open_mouth
