Poco M2 Pro vs Redmi Note 9 Pro
I know these phone are like identical twins but some minor differences must be there which only their users can tell. I am expecting those points. Like I heard few things about M2 pro that dust settles on camera lenses etc. I am not sure how true it is. But the point is I wont find these detail points anywhere else on internet but from Dimers!

I am a rigorous phone user. I need all rounder, sturdy, long lasting phone. Suggestions are welcome.
ps. For some reason I am not considering REALME and MOTO.
Thanks in Advance to Every Reply!

They both are 100% same any issue with either one will be there for other also except a bit of branding which doesn’t matter. It was only done to give flipkart and Amazon both an exclusive phone model.
So you should go with one which you are getting cheaper as there was a price war between flipkart and Amazon.
If getting both at same price poco has got a bigger 33w charger compared to 18w on note 9 pro.

Dont take both if they have same softwares. I had purchased poco m2 pro in diwali sale and
Having too many issues after upgrading to miui 12.
1. Wifi not stable. (Connects and disconnects all the time)
2. Volte doesn’t works when connected to wifi(after switching off wifi calling).
3.youtube minimises on its own when viewing in fullscreen.
4. Sometimes phone goes into silent mode if the caller cuts the phone as sson as i pickup.
…… And many more

That’s why it’s recommended not to upgrade immediately. Once it gets stabilised after 2-3 months, then can proceed to upgrade.

I agree with Simbha3. F1 is a bit too out of date. Considering Xiaomi will most likely never provide an Android 11 update the aftermarket development might not be as robust as it was earlier. A11 based custom ROM development is progressing nicely but for future versions its hard to say. Only if the 8GB variant were available for 10k or so it might be considered if solid aftermarket development and high-end gaming in a tight budget are priorities.

Folks said the same about MIUI 12 update for Poco F1 as well. Meanwhile no such issue in custom ROMs. For Xiaomi devices perhaps custom ROMs are a necessity and not a luxury.

My brother did it as most of the people run for updates as soon as they come. Xiaomi used to be great with their updates when i had redmi note 4 but now it seems their ui is too heavy now to have stable updates or they dont care. Same is the case with asus they never send a bug free update.

If you are enquiring about the ROM then https://telegram.me/crDro...co crDroid is one of the best ROMs for F1 if not the outright best. Huge amount of customization and yet very stable, excellent battery backup and really fluid (although some CAF ROMs are even better in this regard but most of them are very limited in customization options). crDroid 7 based on Android 11 is coming along nicely but still remains a WIP. For now crDroid 6.xx based on Android 10 is recommended. MIUI 12 update for F1 is a complete mess from what I have read and should be avoided at all costs.

Yes. The last I used MIUI for any length of time was MIUI 7/8. Never looked back after taking the plunge into the custom ROM scene. Nowadays I kick off MIUI from my devices as soon as bootloader unlock is allowed which is Poco devices can be a mere minutes!
