Want to buy a new scooter
I don’t have much idea.
It would be used by all family members. So not looking for muscular design or something like that
Did a bit research on electric scooters.
If electric need speed around 45kmph and range around 80+.
Which would be better electric or petrol ones.
Budget: 70-80k .Max would be around 90k.
Usage : Mostly daily commute within city only.
Location:Mumbai
Can wait for one more month.

Electric Vehicles= High maintenance and limited range.
Conventional vehicles = Low maintenance and good mileage.
So the choice is completely yours.
First and foremost decide whether you really need a new scooty?
If the ans is yes, you may go for Jupiter/Dio (Good stability, better features, good mileage and the downside i feel is that the pickup is comparatively not that great but can be ignored)
If your ans is no, then OLX karo bhai (you will have multiple options with great variety too).
Also, are you from central suburbs? i was just asking since these showroom fellas sometimes have different offers in different cities.
Hope this helps.

What about Okinawa and Hero electric?
Okinawa design bit muscular but found features good.
Also what are the must have features for a new scooty?
Activa is overrated… I’m not sure if they improved their new versions 5g/6g… using Activa 4g since 2018 and man it sucks… Less mileage, More maintenance, Less battery life
Go with jupiter instead (Ofcourse these are only if u r looking for petrol based scooters)

All activa issues have been resolved in 6g variant, be it suspension, mileage, stability, brakes etc.
Check olx once know why activa resell price is too high. The vehicle is really good in its latest iteration.
Suzuki access? Imo it looks good
Also please enlighten me on after sales part too.

Will say go for Activa or Jupiter.
And for electric ones infra is still developing there are pros and cons of it. So it’s upto you now to choose between both.
TVS Jupiter is very good choice. Much better than Activa.
TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access is good. Go for it.
Honda Activa for resale value since people are brainwashed into thinking its the best.

Any good site for getting details and comparison of electric scooters?
Saw some sites like bikewale, etc. Range and top speed is mentioned different in different sites.
So any site which would give accurate info?
