Need suggestion on Pepperfry furniture return

Purchased below item and it has manufacturing defect. I raised return but they are saying merchant not accepting and other stories. I have proof of email from their . what was the best approach to resolve this issue as i want to return and get my money refund.

Easy. That email is your ace card.
Just tell them, I shall raise a chargeback with bank to get my money back. If you don't want to lose both money and furniture, better take it back.
Furniture return is a hassle and expensive. But the onus is on Seller/PF because they have sold a defective piece without proper QC in the first place.
