Hi All,
As title says, need suggestions/details from fellow dimers who has some experience on false ceiling, putty and paint work for home.
What are the options to consider for economy budget?
Details like sharing pop, gypsum, putty and paint cost per sq.ft, also labour charges are highly appreciated.
Hope this thread will be helpful to other dimers who are looking for the details as me

Thanks buddy 👍🏼
For branded like berger or asian low cost material like (tractor emulsion or bison emulsion) Rs. 80 per sq feet including labour and material
For plain false ceiling Rs.50 to Rs.60 per sq.feet depends upon negotiation
False ceiling rate around 45-60rs./s.feet for simple design including material cost & labour cost.
Painting- Labour cost around 10rs./S.feet. Add actual paint cost, putty cost in it which u intend to use.

On paints part. If you are going for exterior then I ll recommend you Kansai Nerolac Excel Total. Quality ll be on par with Asian Paints Ultima. You ll get better coverage for the price spent. 🙂. Cost ll be around 12-13k per 10 lt with the color texture. With disc it ll be around 11.5k for 10 lt. Primer cost ll be extra. Please check for Dulux too. Check their equivalent products. Availability is the main concern.
Internal paints can be tricky. Please ask around for quotes. Asian paints ll be a very expensive choice for plastic paints. Check with Indigo, Shalimar for quotes. They ll be on cheaper side maintaining the same quality. But still they ll be costlier than your average distemper. You can wash the paint. I am not sure what's the price now, have a word with dealership near you.
False ceiling we get it done at 40 per sqft and the thing is it's false ceiling is they calculate two times if there is a design with steps. So net net it comes to 80 per sqft
Paint we generally give only Labor contract at 1300-1500 per day per person . The material is ours
