- Need a bank account which can be opened fully online , no need to visit branch.
- I will prefer zero balance account with zero/low charges, eg – debit card fees. But this is not mandatory .

Recently I went to one sbi branch to open one account, branch manager said systems are down and asked for my phone. He then installed yono and did things for 30 minutes and finally said account opened.
I could have done that in 10 minutes, never knew this bank started doing things online.

FI Money and Jupiter money also is there With 0 MAB and No other charges. Also in Jupiter bank you will get 1 % cb on DC/UPI txn but very limited webiste

Kotak 811 Zero Balance Account, no branch visit required. KYC will be done at your address and You can use Virtual Debit Card (Physical Debit Card is not compulsory).
Axis bank .. but bad customer care. Card useful for shopping
Not just bad but worst customer care among all major pvt banks, avoid opening acc in axis because even for getting their credit card there is no guarantee you will get it after having an acc in axis.

Just my 2 cents:
Don’t go for any Neo-Banks, if you are looking for primary/main-secondary bank accounts; these neo-banks can shut down anytime and then you will have to fall back with your partner bank, which will treat you like an orphan;
Better go with any proper commercial bank if it’s primary account and with small finance banks if it’s for secondary account.
Totally Agree with you. But we can use low balance as secondary account in jupiter to get 1% cashback in every transaction.

Any option where they don’t send any documentation to home and no need to visit branch? Don’t need cheque book or physical debit card. Is there any option where they don’t even send welcome letter?
Then only way is kotak 811, only physical kyc required at your aadhar address or you can even call the person to meet some other place for verification.
