If you have HDFC mill.DC, pay 16k directly through MobyDick (400CB) and 75k through platinum.DC (750CB) if you have. (yes, just open another HDFC account under same custid and you can have 2 debit cards)
For rest 9k, use cred spins and MobyDick pakkaCB 50CB on 7500, amazon offers etc.

For 1% hdfc bill pay if you have, waiting for others to reply, i need to know too.
Can't pay more than 75k in a month for benefit not to mention the card need to be supported on hdfc billpay(hdfc own cards are obviously not supported).

Revised earlier post, forgot about 750 cap per month. I have started this month, yet to see. Have mill.VISA. @decideaim
OP has not mentioned CC and DC he has...

I have opened recently, you can have multiple single holder savings accounts in a particular bank for personal/accounting etc purposes. It's the job of HDFC to comply, not my business if what you say is true, I should get a notice too.
Tip: RBI recently issued directive to link all bank accounts of a particular bank which belongs to a unique person (consolidation) under single custid. So that implies it is allowed. Also one may have bank accounts at various branches, isn't it? @guest_999
This is being done to simplify total consolidated relationship view under 5L insurance.

Do I need to go to branch for second account?
rahulsoni0706846 wrote:250 on 50k is 5%, nice, where do you pay?
I have 2 jupiter accounts in my family and pay 25k from each account to get 250 cashback
Agnivo007 wrote:@saitama Called RM, he sent agent, signed forms and it was showing under netbanking in 7days. Under classic, so DC are free.
@bankipad I think he meant not more than one account of same type (single/current/joint). eg. account1 & account2 both are single holder.
Need to add some balance to new a/c ? Like 1lakh for classic
rahulsoni0706846 wrote:My math is too bad
Brother 250 on 50k is 0.5% not 5% and on 250 is from one account so from both accounts total 500 cashback on 50k which is 1%

That is allowed because in acc 1 you are joint acc holder with your mother while in acc 2 you are single acc holder so these two accs don't have exact same type. You can open another joint acc(acc 3) with your mother & father which will be allowed as it will not be similar to your acc 1(now father also there along with mother in acc 3) & 2. All these acc will be mapped to your customer id if you are the primary acc holder in case of joint acc 1 & 3.
@agnivo007 The above is the right way to open multiple accs in same bank, if any bank does otherwise then either it is by mistake or it is violation of rules by BM of the local branch(his responsibility to check with central database of bank to confirm person not holding exact same acc type in any other branch of the bank).
@guest_999 What you said is already done. I got even saving account interest from 2nd account reflecting in AIS statement, so it is already implemented and completely legal, nothing to hide... Regarding lots of transactions etc, normal people have nothing to think of unless one is doing lots of "commercial" stuff, money rotation etc.
Also I'm not sure which Account type code he put in 2nd account... it can be different.
@saitama It is effectively 0 balance for me due to classic linkage.
guest_999 wrote:Kuch bhi? Multiple accounts can be opened under same customer id. I've 2 normal saving account in one customer id in SBI. Even SBM has 4 bank accounts opened under one customer id.

How 400 benifit from mobidik
Thanks for all your inputs but I've stopped using Mobidick after a year of using it due to privacy concerns. Any other offers for bill payment? how about the CC bill payment from Airtel wallet by other credit cards, is this still working?

60k spends in one quarter (Jul, Aug, Sep).
For using this account as zero balance account, we have to spend 25k per month on merchants
So, pay CC bills for 25k per month and have 0 bal account and 750 gv every quarter.
Edit : The below is the additional benefit of this account, but many like me dont know what are the txns eligible for the same @PowerStar @RunZone
As Mentioned, HDFC CC payments will not give 1% when we pay by HDFC plat debit card.
Will Use Axis Liberty account to pay for HDFC CC and use HDFC Plat debit card for paying Axis CC.
By this way will get quarterly 750 gv in axis and 750 CB per month in HDFC.
