need to transfer whatsapp data from Android to iphone

There is some options of first transfer data to telegram android, then to telegram for iphone and then to whatsapp iphone. Don’t know exact steps

doubtful if there is any simple way without using third party softwares, for a Android > iOS transfer.

but somehow i feel, taking text only ‘complete’ back-up on one’s computer or cloud/drive should give the option to ‘restore’, when when registers the same number on the new device (even iOS).

with media back-ups too are possible, but then it can really end up being a huge package.
(whenever i e-mailed individual chat histories to self, e-mail were rejected/ never delivered if the .txt + media attachments exceeded the 25MB or 50MB limits, depending on mail server).
