Nadeem has done something unimaginable, breaking Olympics records. Also Neeraj wasn’t too comfortable with the throws. Before today, Neeraj always overpowered Nadeem. Today it became the opposite. Congratulations to both, and feeling sad as no gold for India this year.
Happy to see both Neeraj and Arshad in podium. Would have been even more happier if Neeraj won that gold. Nevertheless that was one hell of a throw from Arshad. Very inspiring one considering that fella coming from bankrupt country with pathetic infra training facilities
He threw two 90+ throws yesterday and won commonwealth games too with 90+ m throws.. That too without any financial support/resources from the government... In Pakistan he didn't even have a proper ground to practice the throw and he had to crowd-fund to buy a new javelin for him ..This all makes him a special player.
On the other hand Neeraj got a hell lot of financial support and World class facilities from the government following his Tokyo triumph, still he is not able to throw 90+ in his all career....such a sad thing...maybe next time 90m will not be enough for even a bronze.
Did not expect 92 meter throw from anyone as 90.57 is Olympic record.
PS->They should do dope test as well as pakistanis are famous for energy drug consumptions.

But Vinesh was sent to Olympics & Shivani to her duty as BSF Constable. Don't know if Shivani will be able to contest in next Olympics as she will be 30 then.
