Hello All,
We will be rolling out bunch of new features this month and we will communicate the updates here from now on.
As many of you must have seen, It is now possible to send private messages to your buddies on desidime. Have that private chat you always missed.
Features Updates
- Private Messaging (April 4th) – You can send message to any member by going to their profile page. You can check your inbox by clicking on number of messages after your login name.

@A2Zdeals Addressed the problem with the existing functionality in your other tag. That’s why I didn’t execute this approach last year itself.
Hey till we get any update from development team why not take advantage of Deal Alerts feature in its current form
Let people subscribe deal alerts with specific keywords which we create in unique form
I just tried with few keywords & it looks working fine, we can get email, app & chat alert too so maybe it may work for desired dimers
e.g.

#CREDITCARD
#SCBCARD

Few stores tags are not proper or do not exist
One case is ICICI offers. All offers get tagged to Pockets.
I suggest there should be ICICI & Pockets separate stores
Also when you promote please segregate :
ICICI Credit Cards
ICICI Debit Cards
ICICI Netbanking
Pockets
Currently there are several random tags are there & I don’t find much usage. You may do the same by some tagging at your end like when you select store which at times is picked directly from web link in post. Earlier if store web link was missing or wrong, by updating the same in deal wiki it was changing, not anymore.
Coming back to proper tagging, also enable such words precisely for search & deal alerts.
DD search isn’t good at all & it takes long time to filter from several results
Maybe something out of above is working currently but I may not be aware but you surely need overhaul
Also now many people keep saying tag me for this, tag me for that
If you enable such tags hard-coded then one can specify while setting deal alerts & can reach relevant deals easily & faster.

Dimes given for suggesting a deal first reduced to 3 dimes for all deal posters?? I got 3 dimes for suggesting this deal (OP had 9 FPD’s prior to this FPD)

Hi, not sure if this has been suggested, had a quick look but could not find the same of what I am saying below.
Is it possible that we get a mail or sms (maybe as an option in account settings) for certain deals or certain topics. What I had in mind maybe a sms/email once a deal is posted as a FPD or maybe some deals/topics get certain amount of votes/net green votes. I know this might not be practical for everyone, but for people for me who are on the move and mostly at work(where there is very limited access to the internet) it would be a huge benefit. This could also be an added feature based on Current Activity Level/Special Badges/User since date.
Just thinking out loud here. Would love to hear what everyone has to say about this.
