Yes it is the most outdated UI. From the image I can notice some major improvements and redesign of the menu.
Looks like new year launch of Digital Platform 2.0 they have been working on since August most probably... already seeing new payzapp app on testing.

This screenshot looks similar to the new credit card login page. that is there since last 3 months.
I think IDFC first is the best interface for both website and app. No clutter.
I agree with you. IDFC Mobile App specially is best among all banks. So Fresh looking, easy to navigate and find all the information. I don't know why people praising ICICI App. Its not even good. I cannot even generate a CC statement on the ICICI Imobile pay. Last statement shows Sep'22. Most of the links on their homepage are useless and you would rarely use. And on the menu, you don't even see a single useful menu.
Best ones right now IMHO are SBI and PNB. Also good are ICICI, Canara, IndusInd, IOB, and Indian Bank. Rest are shit.
Chat Eva is forever alone. I don't think nobody ever chat with her. What more are they doing with her? Make-up?
I wonder HDFC is among the top banker in India. The App is most annoying and Netbanking is more than that. ICICI has best interface of App and Web

Too much confusion. not user friendly, I know this is temporary still they should not have taken this much time to migrate to the new UI.
Lets see how the new UI and menu structure looks this time. For me its the most confusing UI of all in HDFC. ICICI NetBanking is the best
