Not a big fan on TATA AMT engine in Nexon. It gives those momentary jerks between auto gear shifts.

But it works out well if someone has a use case of 95%+ usage in city and barely any outstation travel that might deem plugging in the vehicle for a charge top-up.
Though the charging network is increasing, the issues are persistent too. You either end up seeing a queue of cars during peak hours on major highways that are waiting to get charged or non-functional chargers.
Go with fronx.
New model, new design , u can expect smooth engine over tata.
Safety is the only pro with tata..

Howz safety with fronx ? Expected gncap rating?

And i guess maruti doesn't participate in ncap as they only get 1/2 stars

With new norm it may score 0 or 1...
New norms side impact is also taken into account
Also do note Beleno scored 0 in Latin America NCAP...
So safety wise Maruti se don't expect much..
Engine is butter smooth so is the torque converter..Tata engine are not that refined and it's AMT gear shift are jerky..
no tin ka dabba plz
if you're fine with appalam cars (In Tamil we call papad as appalam), close your eyes and choose maruthi.
if you need metal body cars, choose Tata.
offtopic:
appalam is light weight, give more milage and once crashed/crushed means, it will break into pieces in no time.
experienced in my life too doors arebroken in 2 pieces just hit my slow speed scooter (not car),
NO to Maruthi, Indian make maruthi is Zero star, as they dont show up in NCAP or other for star rating
12l spend karke koi suzuki kyu lega

Going out of my budget and my use is v less so not going for that

6 Airbag hai... Basically they are just marketing that we have more AIrbags...
But tin ka dabba hai sir... Airbags wont help much if the car shell crumble

The torque converter in brezza is far superior than the jerky AMT you have on nexon. shifting gears in fronx is much smoother than nexon. I’m in the same dilemma, but I’m choosing between brezza AT and Kia sonet diesel AT, it’s insanely powerful ( has the same engine as creta) Not sure if brezza at 15L is worth or seems overpriced.
Maruti Suzuki tin kaa Dabba, KIA killed in action. 😔
Can you please elaborate on the ask? It will help in giving suggestion.
Which Model are you looking?
- Nexon :
- +ve Great Safety , Good features , Update will come in few months ( hopefully)
- -ve : Not the best A.S.S - not a great sales exp for most , Poor mileage
- Fronx:
- Good gear box - TC only, Maruti A.S.S is best
- Poor safety , Too costly - I will prefer Brezza TC , Check Sonet Diesel Automatic
- What is your average running per year?
- Is your running in city/Highway approx percentage?
If you prefer sedan check honda city base model. far more VFM
Hey
M looking for xma plus model in nexon
And in fronx delta ags
Average running is less below 1000 per month and city drive only.
I am interested in suv look only so not going for any sedan
And want automatic only.
Worth to dono hi nahi financially. Shauq hai to kuchh bhi le lo.
Jo dil kare

Both options are AMT , and i see your preferred budget is around 12L . I still think you can check brezza VXI AT , also do check Amaze ( I know you said SUV) it provides a great gear box and smoothness in driving in affordable budget.
Safety-wise Nexon is better anytime but be prepared for some disappointment in A.S.S
