Is 23/49 recharge compulsory for receiving sms on airtel?Looks like so,i wasn’t receiving banking otp’s and other messages but weirdly i am receiving sms from some numbers.Did anyone else face this?

We already paid SMS charges/mobile banking charges to the respective bank (you can check in bank account statement). Airtel or any other cellular companies have no rights to block the bank msgs……. we should file the complaint against airtel on consumer court… https://www.onlinelegalindia.com/services/consu...

my airtel unlimited pack of 149 is finished…..now I want to port my airtel number to another company, to get a porting code i have to send msg to 1900 of cost one rupee. only for this now I want to recharge again with 149 rs. and after porting my number hole amount will be waste……….

If you still have sufficient talktime for sending PORT SMS just recharge with Rs 45/48 pack. Otherwise Rs 49 pack which gives 38 TT.
Edit: You can also recharge the no. by using main balance from another Airtel no. Dial 141 Airtel mobile number * MRP# . You can choose the MRP from 48, 49, 149, 219, 249, 399, 598
